Hamcheon County Council Begins Review of County Administration Through Administrative Audit
The Hamcheon County Council began an administrative audit last week to examine the overall operations of the county government. This audit was organized to verify whether the major projects pursued by Hamcheon County throughout this year have proceeded as planned and to ensure that the budget has been used appropriately.
Council members Shin Gyeong-ja, Im Jae-jin, and Noh Seong-yong participated as key members in this audit. The three members received reports on major tasks from each department of the county office and asked detailed questions to determine whether policies closely related to the lives of the residents are being operated effectively.
The council members focused particularly on projects aimed at revitalizing the local economy and improving resident welfare. Furthermore, they checked for any instances of budget waste and requested that relevant officials provide concrete alternatives to resolve the inconveniences experienced by residents.
Public officials humbly accepted the points raised by the council members and responded that they would immediately improve upon any shortcomings. The issues identified through this audit will be reflected in future county administration plans.
Hamcheon County Council stated that it hopes this administrative audit will not merely be a process of finding faults, but a time of communication to create a better county administration.
