Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Speeds Up Land Compensation to Boost Housing Supply in the Capital Region
The Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) is accelerating its land compensation procedures to facilitate the supply of housing in the capital region. Recently, the government has been actively promoting the development of new residential sites within the capital area to stabilize the housing market.
To this end, LH has decided to deploy 344 specialized personnel dedicated to land compensation tasks. Since compensation work relies heavily on consultations with landowners, the plan is to enhance operational efficiency by assigning a large number of experts.
This measure is intended to resolve the housing shortage in the capital region and rapidly secure land for the construction of new apartments. It is expected that once land compensation is carried out promptly, the overall construction period for housing projects will also be shortened.
An LH official stated, "We will proceed with the compensation process fairly and quickly through smooth communication with residents." Attention is now focused on the positive impact this deployment of personnel will have on the housing supply plan for the capital region.
