KTNF Accelerates Development of 'Micro Data Centers' Using Domestic AI Semiconductors
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, server technology capable of processing data efficiently is gaining attention. In line with this trend, KTNF, a domestic server specialist, is accelerating the development of 'micro data centers' equipped with domestic AI semiconductors.
Unlike traditional, massive data centers, micro data centers are small server systems that can be installed directly where needed to process data quickly. This development is particularly significant in that it moves away from the conventional reliance on foreign semiconductors and instead utilizes domestic AI semiconductors.
As the importance of big data processing grows, companies are striving to analyze data more quickly and accurately. In response to these market demands, KTNF is focusing on providing high-performance computing environments and building AI infrastructure based on domestic technology.
Once this project is successfully completed, domestic companies are expected to be able to operate AI services at a more affordable and efficient cost. Furthermore, as the domestic semiconductor ecosystem becomes revitalized, South Korea's IT competitiveness is also expected to be further enhanced.
