Testo Korea Opens Measurement Experience Center in Pyeongtaek and Strengthens Fire Safety in Cold Storage Warehouses
With the growing importance of measurement technology in domestic industrial sites, Testo Korea has opened a new 'Measurement Experience Center' in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do. The opening of this center is intended to help customers experience various measurement instruments firsthand and receive technical support.
At the Pyeongtaek Measurement Experience Center, visitors can directly use essential industrial measurement equipment for temperature, humidity, and pressure. Through this center, Testo Korea plans to provide customers with more accurate measurement solutions and strengthen communication with on-site experts.
Meanwhile, the government has recently announced new regulations to strengthen fire safety in cold storage warehouses. This amendment focuses on preventing the freezing and corrosion of sprinkler pipes within cold storage facilities.
Specifically, it includes a mandate to install detachable inspection pipes at the points where pipes penetrate the walls of cold storage warehouses. This measure is intended to prevent issues where sprinklers fail to operate properly during a fire and to enhance the safety of the facilities.
Regarding these measures, the industry expects that as safety management standards are tightened, regular inspections and equipment maintenance for related facilities will become increasingly important. Companies are expected to strive for fire prevention by complying with the new safety regulations and equipping themselves with the necessary measurement instruments.
