The Fragrance of Art in Nonsan: 'Breath of Baekje' Exhibition Opens
A special exhibition featuring 100 artists from the Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organization of Korea (FACO) has opened in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do. Titled 'Breath of Baekje,' the event is garnering significant attention for combining local history with art.
This exhibition is composed of works that allow visitors to experience both traditional Korean beauty and modern artistic sensibilities simultaneously. Artists active across the country have gathered to express the beauty of Baekje culture in their own unique ways, providing deep inspiration to visitors.
Nonsan, where the exhibition is held, is a historically significant location. In particular, cultural heritage sites such as Cheonga-ru Pavilion at the 17th-century Jeongsan Hyanggyo—a space where scholars once studied and rested—harmonize with the exhibition to create an even more special atmosphere.
This 'Breath of Baekje' exhibition is expected to serve as a valuable opportunity to reflect on the value of our cultural heritage and communicate with the local community through art. We hope many citizens will visit the exhibition to experience the depth of Korean art.
