KOREATECH students begin global educational volunteer activities in Vietnam
Students from the Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) held a departure ceremony to carry out technology sharing and educational volunteer work in Vietnam. This volunteer program was organized to spread Korea's excellent technical education experience abroad and to engage with local students.
The volunteer group plans to visit local schools in Vietnam to conduct various educational programs. In particular, the focus is on providing practical help to local students by utilizing the engineering knowledge and skills that the participants possess. Through this, it is expected that understanding between students of both countries will be enhanced and friendly relations will be built.
This program includes not only technical education but also various activities to promote Korean culture. The students have prepared performances and hands-on activities that showcase both traditional and modern aspects of Korea, and they plan to spend time mingling with the local students.
A KOREATECH official stated that this volunteer activity will serve as an opportunity for the students to develop global competencies, while providing a valuable time for Vietnamese students to learn new skills.
Moving forward, KOREATECH intends to fulfill its social responsibilities and practice the value of sharing through technology by continuing various overseas volunteer activities.
