Gimhae City Carries Out Various Activities for Citizen Safety and Welfare
Gimhae City, Gyeongsangnam-do, is taking active steps to strengthen community safety and help neighbors in need. The city recently conducted emergency rescue training to protect citizens' lives while also sharing news of welfare support for vulnerable groups.
First, Gimhae City held the "First Half of 2026 Emergency Rescue Training" on the 16th in the city hall's main conference room. This training was designed to prevent serious disasters and ensure a rapid response in the event of sudden accidents. In particular, the focus was on developing practical rescue capabilities in cooperation with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA).
Along with this, warm sharing activities for the local community continued. The Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Gas Corporation decided to sponsor treatment costs to help the oral health of people with disabilities in the Gimhae area. This sponsorship is expected to be a great help to individuals with disabilities who cannot receive proper dental treatment due to economic difficulties.
A Gimhae City official stated that this training and sponsorship activity will serve as an important opportunity to make the local community a safer and better place to live. The city plans to continue collaborating with various organizations to protect citizens' safety and eliminate welfare blind spots.
