2027 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) September Mock Exam Expected to be More Difficult Than June
The Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE) has announced the direction for the September mock exam for the 2027 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). This mock exam is planned to be more difficult in the Korean and Mathematics sections compared to the mock exam held last June.
The June mock exam was evaluated as having relatively easy Korean and Mathematics sections. Accordingly, education authorities appear to be using this September mock exam to ensure discrimination among students and establish a standard for adjusting the difficulty level of the actual CSAT.
For the English section, the trend from last year's CSAT and this year's June mock exam will be maintained. Education experts advised that this September mock exam will be an important opportunity for students to objectively assess their skills and revise their study strategies for the remaining period.
This mock exam is expected to be of great help to students in identifying their weaknesses and preparing for the actual CSAT. Students should carefully analyze the exam trends and prepare thoroughly during the remaining time.
