KOREATECH Students Spread Warmth Through Technology Volunteering in Vietnam
Students from the Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) are launching a global educational volunteer program in Vietnam. This volunteer group was formed to provide practical assistance to local residents by utilizing the engineering knowledge and skills possessed by the students.
The volunteer group plans to improve the educational environment in Vietnam and provide various technical training programs to local students. Beyond simply delivering supplies, the focus is on communicating with the locals and sharing the value of technology through educational curricula prepared directly by the students.
In particular, this activity is also expected to serve as an opportunity to promote Korean culture. The students have prepared performances utilizing traditional Korean arts, such as mask dances, music, and movement, to introduce the beauty of Korea to local residents and create a venue for cultural exchange.
This global volunteer activity will be a valuable experience for the students to learn the meaning of sharing. Furthermore, it is expected to serve as an opportunity to further deepen the friendly relations between South Korea and Vietnam.
