Geochang-gun Launches Health Event Combining Walking Exercise and Cancer Screening
Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, is operating a special health event to promote the health of its residents. This event links 'walking exercise,' which can be easily practiced in daily life, with 'cancer screening' to prevent disease.
Geochang-gun has prepared various programs to help residents develop healthy lifestyle habits. In particular, by encouraging residents who have undergone cancer screening to engage in walking activities, the county aims to achieve the dual goals of disease prevention and physical activity simultaneously.
Residents participating in this event simply need to meet their walking goals and complete their cancer screenings within the designated period. A county official stated that this activity will greatly help raise residents' awareness of health management and create a healthy culture within the local community.
Geochang-gun plans to continue promoting various health policies so that residents can enjoy a healthy life. Detailed information on how to participate and the schedule for this event can be found on the Geochang-gun Public Health Center website.
