KASA Hosts 'Korea Robot Aircraft Competition' to Foster Future Aerospace Technology Talent
The 'Korea Robot Aircraft Competition,' hosted by the Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA), will be held again this year. This competition is a signature event that has led the development of domestic unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, having first started in 2002 and continuing for over 20 years.
This year, 80 teams from across the country are scheduled to participate and engage in fierce competition. Participants will utilize unmanned aircraft they have developed themselves to perform various missions, showcasing the technical skills they have accumulated.
The Korea Robot Aircraft Competition has played a significant role in expanding the base of the domestic UAV industry and discovering excellent talent in related fields. In particular, since KASA began hosting the competition directly last year, the professionalism and scale of the event have been further strengthened.
It is expected that Korea's unmanned aerial technology will take another step forward through this competition. The attention of many people interested in the aerospace sector is focused on this event.
