Korea's Largest MICE Industry Event, '2026 Korea MICE Expo,' to be Held in Magok This November
On November 17, the '2026 Korea MICE Expo,' which looks into the future of the domestic MICE (Meeting, Incentive tour, Convention, Exhibition) industry, will raise its grand curtain in Magok, Seoul. This event is expected to be a significant venue where domestic and international MICE-related companies and experts gather to discuss the industry's development direction and create business opportunities.
The MICE industry is a high-value-added sector encompassing meetings, incentive tours, conventions, and exhibitions, playing a major role in revitalizing local economies. This expo is expected to serve as an opportunity to share the latest technologies and trends and to promote the competitiveness of the Korean MICE industry to the world.
Meanwhile, in Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, support projects to revive the local economy are also underway. This support project, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that manufacture ginseng products and have their headquarters or factories within Geumsan-gun, is being promoted in cooperation with the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency.
The application period for the project is from October 28 to 30. Through this initiative, Geumsan-gun plans to expand sales channels for ginseng products, the region's representative specialty, and actively assist in the growth of SMEs.
As such, various economic activities ranging from large-scale industrial exhibitions to support for local SMEs are scheduled to continue throughout November. It is hoped that these events will boost the vitality of the Korean economy and serve as a foundation for the related industries to grow to the next level.
