Blue House on DMZ landmine explosion investigation: “We will proceed swiftly and thoroughly”
The government's response to a recent suspected landmine explosion near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is drawing attention. As controversy grows over delays in the investigation process following the accident, the Blue House has issued an official statement.
The Blue House emphasized that it will conduct an objective, swift, and thorough investigation into the incident. It also clearly drew a line, stating that there will be absolutely no hidden agendas or cover-ups during the investigation process.
As this incident is directly linked to the safety of the inter-Korean border region, many citizens are closely watching the government's investigation results. In particular, as the accident occurred in an area with high military tension, determining the exact cause is more important than anything else.
The government plans to clarify the circumstances of the accident through this investigation and prepare necessary measures to prevent similar accidents from recurring in the future. The government's position is that it will prioritize the safety of the public and announce the investigation results transparently.
