KT Inspects Disaster Communication Response System in Preparation for Autumn Wildfires

As the operator of the public safety communication network, KT announced that it has comprehensively inspected its communication response system in preparation for disaster situations such as wildfires. This inspection was conducted to verify the ability to stably provide communication services during a disaster and to recover quickly when problems arise.
KT focused on checking the technologies and equipment used to manage communication networks to ensure they remain uninterrupted during disaster situations. Additionally, the company inspected the personnel and recovery systems capable of responding immediately to the field in the event of an emergency.
The public safety communication network is a core network that helps relevant agencies, such as the police, fire departments, and local governments, communicate smoothly with each other during national disaster situations. Through this inspection, KT plans to focus on protecting the safety of the public and rapidly normalizing communication services in the event of a disaster.
