Growing Interest in Health Management Highlights High-Protein Soy Milk and Personalized Health Supplements
As the number of health-conscious consumers continues to rise, the food and health supplement industries are launching a series of new products. In particular, there is growing interest in protein intake and personalized health management.
Erom, a company specializing in health foods, recently launched two types of 'Erom High-Protein Soy Milk' with enhanced plant-based protein. Each pack contains 12g of protein and uses domestic soybean extract, considering both taste and nutrition. Additionally, the product is nutritionally balanced with the inclusion of BCAAs, which support muscle health, five types of vitamins, and calcium.
Meanwhile, in the health supplement industry, 'personalized gut microbiome' solutions tailored to an individual's gut health status are also gaining attention. Companies such as CJ Wellcare showcased technologies that analyze an individual's gut environment and recommend appropriate health supplements at the recently held 'CPHI Korea 2026' event.
This shift is analyzed to be a result of the growing tendency among consumers to go beyond simply purchasing health foods, aiming instead to accurately understand their physical condition and efficiently consume the nutrients they need.
Going forward, the launch of personalized products that consider individual lifestyles and health conditions is expected to become even more active in the food and health supplement market.
