Embassy of the Philippines in Seoul Hosts Event for Filipino Workers at Marronnier Park
Last weekend, a special event hosted by the Embassy of the Philippines in Seoul and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) was held at Marronnier Park in Daehak-ro, Seoul. The event, titled 'Alagang OWWA Health, Wellness, and Membership Serbisyo Caravan,' was organized to support Filipino workers residing in South Korea.
During the event, the focus was on providing health consultations and information on welfare services for Filipino workers. Many participants spent a productive time checking various welfare benefits and monitoring their health status on-site.
An official from the Embassy of the Philippines in Seoul stated that the event was planned to improve the quality of life for Filipino workers in Korea and to help them easily access the information they need. The venue was crowded with many attendees, marking a great success.
This event served as an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of support policies for foreign workers who are members of Korean society. It is hoped that such welfare programs will continue in the future so that foreign workers can live healthier and more stable lives in Korea.
