Korea Youth Environment Group Experiences Marine Leisure Ecotourism in Namhae
Recently, about 100 youths and citizens from the Korea Youth Environment Group visited Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, to enjoy a special marine leisure ecotourism experience. This event was organized to help participants connect directly with the sea and learn about the importance of the environment.
Participants experienced various marine sports at the Namhae-gun Yacht School, divided into morning and afternoon sessions. They had a great time trying out dinghy yachts and cruiser yachts, as well as enjoying water sports equipment such as paddleboards and banana boats.
In addition, snorkeling activities were held to allow participants to observe the clear waters of the Namhae sea firsthand. Through this experience, the participants were able to observe the marine ecosystem up close and took the opportunity to raise awareness about the need to protect our oceans.
An official who participated in the event stated that it was a beneficial time for the youths to feel the beauty of nature while engaging in various activities at sea and to learn the importance of environmental protection. It is expected that various ecological experience programs for youths will continue in the future.
