Tongyeong City Strengthens Public-Private Cooperation for Safe Operation of the 65th Hansan Great Victory Festival
Tongyeong City, Gyeongsangnam-do, is putting its full efforts into safety management to ensure the successful hosting of the ongoing '65th Hansan Great Victory Festival.' As a large number of tourists are expected to visit the festival, Tongyeong City has set the creation of an accident-free, safe festival as its top priority.
To this end, Tongyeong City has established a 'public-private joint safety network' in collaboration with various local civic groups. Throughout the festival period, volunteers are stationed at various locations on-site to monitor visitor safety, manage congested areas, and carry out a variety of other activities.
A city official stated that through this cooperation, citizens and tourists visiting the festival grounds will be able to enjoy the event with greater peace of mind. Furthermore, the on-site volunteers have completed safety training in advance to ensure they can respond promptly in the event of an emergency.
The 65th Hansan Great Victory Festival will continue throughout the Tongyeong area until the 16th. Tongyeong City plans to maintain thorough safety management without letting its guard down until the final day of the festival.
