Early Detection of Fire Signs with AI Technology: 'The Keeper' to Participate in Exhibition

Amid growing social interest in fire safety, new fire detection technologies utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) are gaining attention. Safety specialist company 'The Keeper' announced that it will participate in the AI Special Zone of 'FIRE TECH KOREA 2026,' a fire prevention and disaster technology industry exhibition to be held in 2026. At this exhibition, The Keeper plans to showcase innovative technology that uses AI to prevent fires in advance.

'EV Keeper,' introduced by The Keeper, is a system that utilizes existing CCTV footage. This system analyzes CCTV screens in real-time through AI technology. If smoke, flames, or unusual situations occur, the AI detects them immediately. Its most significant feature is that the computer judges and analyzes risks on its own, going beyond traditional simple video recording.

In particular, this technology helps discover signs of fire at a very early stage. When the AI detects a danger, it immediately sends an alert to the administrator's smartphone or computer via the control system. This allows administrators to respond quickly before it spreads into a large fire. This is expected to be highly effective in areas like underground parking lots or electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, where early suppression is critical.

Recently, anxiety over new types of accidents, such as electric vehicle fires, has been growing in Korean society. In this context, early detection technology using AI will play a vital role in protecting citizens' safety. The Keeper expressed its intention to introduce technology that creates a safe environment for more people through this exhibition.

In the future, AI technology is expected to serve as a sentinel responsible for safety in various parts of our lives. Much attention is focused on whether the various fire-fighting technologies to be unveiled at 'FIRE TECH KOREA 2026' will be able to further advance Korea's safety systems.
