All 20 affiliated institutions, including the main office of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, are participating in this exercise. The Office of Education plans to assess its crisis management capabilities by creating an environment similar to actual conditions.
The Ulchi Exercise is a government-wide training conducted annually to protect the lives and property of citizens in the event of a national emergency. An official from the Office of Education stated that they intend to further strengthen the emergency response system through this training.
During the training period, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will maintain 24-hour emergency duty and continue practical training for various crisis situations. Citizens are asked for their cooperation, as there may be emergency vehicle movements around the Office of Education during the training period.
