Korea Association of Health Promotion Daegu & Gyeongbuk Chapter Practices Community Health and Sharing
The Daegu and Gyeongbuk Chapter of the Korea Association of Health Promotion is carrying out various activities to promote community health and spread the value of sharing. These activities focused on helping local residents lead healthy lives and providing opportunities to experience local specialties.
In particular, a program utilizing 'Mungyeong Omija,' a representative specialty of Mungyeong, received significant attention at this event. Omija is characterized by its ability to offer all five flavors: sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and spicy. Through the taste experience center, participants had the time to learn about the benefits of Omija and personally taste various foods made with it.
An official from the association explained that this event was organized not only to convey health information but also to promote the excellence of local specialties and help residents form healthy eating habits. Residents who visited the site expressed great satisfaction while experiencing healthy foods made with Omija.
The Korea Association of Health Promotion Daegu and Gyeongbuk Chapter plans to continue various campaigns and sharing activities to protect the health of local residents in the future. There is much anticipation for their future steps as they grow alongside the local community and create a healthy culture.
