North Korea Maintains Unusual 'Silence' After Recent Missile Launches
North Korea is drawing attention for maintaining an unusual silence following its recent launch of over 10 missiles, contrary to its typical behavior. In the past, North Korea has extensively reported on its missile launches or highlighted the on-site guidance provided by Chairman Kim Jong-un.
The projectiles launched this time have been identified as 600mm super-large multiple rocket launchers. Military experts analyze that these weapons have the capability to carry tactical nuclear warheads.
The exact reason for North Korea's silence following these missile launches remains unknown. Some analysts suggest it may stem from internal strategic shifts or an intention to observe the external situation.
The South Korean military is closely monitoring these movements by North Korea. Our military maintains a thorough surveillance posture in preparation for the possibility of further provocations by the North.
Attention is now focused on what attitude North Korea will display moving forward and what impact this will have on the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
