Electric Vehicle Fire Prevention Technology to Take Center Stage at ‘FIRE TECH KOREA 2026’
With the recent increase in electric vehicle usage, interest in related fire safety technology is growing. In line with this trend, the industry's attention is focused on ‘FIRE TECH KOREA 2026,’ a specialized fire and disaster prevention exhibition to be held in 2026.
Disaster safety specialist company ‘The Keeper’ will participate in this exhibition to showcase new technology. The Keeper will unveil ‘EV Keeper,’ an artificial intelligence (AI)-based solution for early detection of electric vehicle fires and on-site response.
‘EV Keeper’ is a system that quickly detects abnormal signs before a fire occurs and helps enable immediate response in the event of an actual accident. It aims to minimize damage by connecting the process from detection to response into a single workflow.
Because electric vehicle fires are more difficult to extinguish than typical fires, early response technology is crucial. This unveiling of technology is expected to contribute to reducing public anxiety regarding the safety of using electric vehicles.
It is expected that various technological developments for electric vehicle safety will continue in the future. The relevant industry plans to use this exhibition to share the latest fire-fighting technologies and strive to create a safer environment for electric vehicle use.
