Democratic Party of Korea Announces Key Appointments, Including Kim Min-seok as Secretary-General
The Democratic Party of Korea has begun a full-scale organizational overhaul by announcing a new slate of party appointments. This reshuffle was conducted with the aim of leading party operations efficiently and strengthening policy capabilities.
The most notable position is that of Secretary-General. Representative Kim Min-seok has been appointed as Secretary-General and will oversee the party's administration and organizational management. In addition, Representative Kwon Chil-seung has been named Policy Committee Chair and will lead the party's future key policies and legislative direction.
Representative Han Jeoung-ae and Chairman Kim Nam-jun were also included in these appointments. Representative Han Jeoung-ae will join the Secretary-General's office to support party affairs, while Chairman Kim Nam-jun will serve as the Public Relations Committee Chair, taking responsibility for the party's external messaging and communication strategy.
