South Korea and the U.S. Strengthen Deep Tech Cooperation… Workshop to be Held in Seoul in 2026
South Korea and the United States have decided to further expand cooperation centered on 'deep tech,' a field of advanced technology. To promote technological innovation and enhance future industrial competitiveness, the two countries plan to host the 'Korea-U.S. Deep Tech Innovation Workshop' in Seoul in 2026.
One of the key areas of this cooperation is the shipbuilding industry. HD Hyundai possesses world-class shipbuilding technology and automation experience. Based on these technical capabilities, HD Hyundai plans to provide practical support to help U.S. shipyards successfully achieve digital transformation.
In the global industrial sector, digital transformation utilizing artificial intelligence and automation technology has recently become increasingly important. This collaboration is expected to create synergy by combining South Korea's advanced shipbuilding technology with the industrial infrastructure of the United States.
