Artists Spotlighted by BTS's RM Gather with Curators from Around the World
The Korea Foundation (KF) is hosting a special curating event featuring art world experts from across the globe. This event was organized to promote the value of Korean contemporary art to the world and to create opportunities for domestic artists to enter the international market.
In particular, this event features a large number of artists who have previously caught the attention of and been mentioned by BTS member RM. With his deep knowledge of art, RM has consistently introduced the works of Korean artists, and his discerning eye has garnered significant attention in both domestic and international art circles.
Renowned museum curators from various countries will attend the event to personally view and discuss the works of Korean artists. They will examine the originality and artistic potential of Korean contemporary art and discuss ways to collaborate on future overseas exhibitions.
A representative from the Korea Foundation stated that this event will serve as an important milestone in elevating the status of Korean art. It is also expected to be a great opportunity for domestic artists to communicate directly with world-class experts and build a global network.
This event is expected to become a stepping stone for Korean art to expand further on the global stage. Many art enthusiasts are focusing their attention on whether Korean artists will be able to engage in more active roles in museums around the world in the future.
