Renault updates the Megane E-Tech: more range and fast charging at the same price
The automotive brand Renault has announced a major update for its electric model, the Megane E-Tech. The vehicle now incorporates a new LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, a technology that seeks to improve the efficiency and durability of electric cars in the current market.
Thanks to this technical improvement, the new Megane E-Tech reaches a range of up to 501 kilometers on a single charge. In addition, the system allows for highly efficient fast charging, managing to recover a large part of its energy in just 24 minutes, which facilitates long trips for Spanish drivers.
Despite these significant improvements in the vehicle's performance and technology, Renault has confirmed that the selling price will remain unchanged. The model will be available from 34,990 euros, a strategy with which the company intends to make its electric cars more competitive against other brands.
This renewal comes at a key moment for the sustainable mobility sector in Spain, where users are looking for more affordable alternatives with greater range. With this move, Renault hopes to consolidate its position in the national market and attract new buyers interested in the transition to electric vehicles.
