Young woman from Huesca under investigation by the Civil Guard after lending her car to her partner
The Civil Guard of Huesca has opened an investigation into a 26-year-old woman for a possible crime against road safety. The woman has been reported as a "necessary accomplice" after allowing her boyfriend to drive her vehicle, despite the fact that he did not meet the legal requirements to do so.
The events took place during a routine check on the roads of the province of Huesca. Traffic officers intercepted the driver, a 29-year-old man, and discovered that he was driving irregularly. After carrying out the relevant checks, the officers confirmed that the man did not have a license to get behind the wheel.
The investigation then focused on the owner of the car. According to Spanish regulations, the owner of a vehicle can be held responsible if they provide the car to a person who does not have a license or who has lost all their points. In this case, the young woman was identified as the person who allowed the use of the automobile, which has led to her being formally reported to the authorities.
This incident serves as a reminder of the responsibility that comes with being the owner of a vehicle. Traffic laws in Spain are strict regarding the lending of cars to unauthorized persons, as this poses a serious risk to the safety of all public road users.
The case is now in the hands of judicial authorities, who will determine the legal consequences for both individuals involved. For the time being, the Civil Guard continues its surveillance duties to ensure compliance with traffic regulations on Spanish roads.
