Spanish company Sacyr to build a new hospital in Australia
The Spanish construction company Sacyr has secured a major international contract together with the Australian firm Built. Both companies will be in charge of the construction of the new Mandurah Hospital, located in the state of Western Australia.
This project represents a very significant milestone for Sacyr, as it is the first time the alliance between these two companies has secured a large-scale project in this Australian region. The collaboration seeks to combine the Spanish firm's international experience with the local knowledge of its Australian partner.
The new healthcare center aims to improve medical services for the citizens of Mandurah and its surrounding areas. Local authorities have highlighted the importance of this infrastructure in meeting the growing demand for healthcare in the area, ensuring that the hospital will feature modern and efficient facilities.
Although the company has a strong presence in Spain, this contract reinforces Sacyr's expansion strategy in international markets. The company continues to consolidate its position as one of the Spanish leaders in the construction and infrastructure management sector globally.
Construction is expected to begin soon, following the timelines established by the regional government. This project not only represents a business success for Sacyr, but also strengthens the presence of Spanish companies in the engineering and construction sector in Oceania.
