Barcelona hosts a key conference for health sector funding in Spain
The city of Barcelona has been the setting for a fundamental meeting for the future of medical research in Spain. Representatives from Horizon Europe and the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) met this September 22nd to inform companies and research centers about new funding opportunities.
The main objective of this conference was to explain how Spanish entities can access European funds earmarked for health. These resources are essential to boost innovation projects that allow for the improvement of medical treatments and the development of new healthcare technologies in our country.
During the event, experts highlighted the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors. Thanks to CDTI grants and European programs, Spanish companies now have greater ease in turning their scientific ideas into real products that benefit patients.
The conference concluded with a positive message regarding Spain's competitiveness in the international healthcare arena. The organizers encouraged attendees to submit their proposals in upcoming calls, stressing that investment in health is a strategic priority for economic growth and social well-being in the coming years.
