'Deep Tech' arrives in Spain to transform the industry
A new technological trend, known as "Deep Tech," has begun to gain ground in Spain and the rest of Europe. This movement focuses on the development of complex scientific and engineering solutions that seek to solve global problems through advanced innovation.
The term "Deep Tech" refers to companies that do not just create digital applications, but work with disruptive technologies such as advanced artificial intelligence, quantum computing, or biotechnology. These organizations require greater investment and longer development times than traditional technology companies, but their impact on the economy is much deeper.
Spain is positioning itself as a relevant player in this sector. Thanks to collaboration between universities, research centers, and the private sector, the Spanish ecosystem is managing to attract talent and capital. The goal is to modernize the country's industrial structure, allowing local companies to be more competitive at an international level.
Although the road is long, experts point out that the development of this technology is fundamental to Europe's strategic sovereignty. The ability to innovate in critical areas will allow Spain to reduce its technological dependence on other markets and foster economic growth based on knowledge and science.
In conclusion, the arrival of "Deep Tech" marks a turning point for the Spanish business fabric. If the country manages to maintain support for research and development, this movement could radically transform the way we produce and consume technology in the coming years.
