Wildfire alert in several regions of Spain this Friday
The wildfire situation in Spain has become complicated during this Friday, August 14. According to the updated fire map, several provinces are under special surveillance due to weather conditions and the spread of flames in vegetation areas.
The most affected areas at this moment are Huelva and Huesca, where emergency teams are working intensely to control the active hotspots. In Huesca, attention is focused especially on the surroundings of San Juan de la Peña, where an active alert remains in place to protect the natural heritage of the area.
On the other hand, in the province of León, the fire reported in Caboalles de Abajo continues to be a cause for concern. Extinguishing services are continuing control efforts to prevent the fire from spreading to inhabited areas or zones of higher ecological value.
In addition to the high temperatures, other climatic factors are hindering the firefighters' tasks. In Seville, the presence of fog has complicated visibility and the work of aerial resources, which adds an extra level of difficulty to containing the fires in the south of the country.
Authorities recommend that citizens stay informed through official channels and avoid any activity that could generate risks in the countryside. Vigilance will be maintained throughout the weekend due to the possibility that weather conditions will continue to favor the risk of new fires.
