The Cortes of Castile and León to be illuminated for World Mental Health Day and the National Day
The building of the Cortes of Castile and León is preparing for special lighting over the coming days. The facade of this institution will display commemorative colors to celebrate two dates of great social and national relevance in Spain.
The first of these celebrations is World Mental Health Day. With this initiative, the Cortes seek to raise awareness about the importance of caring for psychological well-being and to show their support for people facing mental health issues in today's society.
Subsequently, the building will change its lighting to commemorate Spain's National Day, which is celebrated every October 12th. During this day, the facade of the regional parliament will be dressed in the colors of the Spanish flag, a symbolic gesture that is repeated on various public buildings throughout the country.
These actions are part of the autonomous community's institutional agenda. Through this gesture, the Cortes of Castile and León aim to bring institutions closer to the citizens and participate actively in the most important commemorations of the national calendar.
