The Spanish Government will prioritize energy consumption for artificial intelligence
The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has announced that access to the national power grid will henceforth be treated as a limited strategic resource. This decision comes in light of the rapid growth of data centers and the infrastructure necessary for the development of artificial intelligence, which require massive amounts of energy to operate.
