Producer Rob Ellis pays tribute to classic electronic music in his new release
Musician and producer Rob Ellis, known in the electronic scene under the pseudonym RMM, has recently presented his new work titled 'B2 RMM-LRC [DMM09]'. This release stands out for its technical and artistic approach, having been created exclusively through the use of modular equipment and analog synthesizers.
Ellis's proposal seeks to recover the essence of avant-garde electronic music. According to the artist, the sound of this new EP is directly inspired by the aesthetic and compositions of Kraftwerk, the legendary German band considered pioneers of the genre. The use of analog technology allows the producer to explore sound textures that recall the golden decades of electronic music.
The project consists of four tracks that demonstrate RMM's ability to manipulate electrical signals and create complex rhythms without relying on modern digital tools. This working method, which requires great technical knowledge, is highly valued by enthusiasts of pure sound and vinyl collectors.
With this release, Rob Ellis reaffirms his commitment to sound experimentation. The EP is now available to electronic music fans in Spain and the rest of the world, consolidating RMM as a relevant figure within the contemporary modular music circuit.
