The Real Casa de Correos will be illuminated with the colors of the Ceuta flag
The Real Casa de Correos, located in Madrid's Puerta del Sol, will be illuminated this Wednesday with the colors of the Ceuta flag. This symbolic gesture seeks to show the capital's institutional support for the autonomous city on a day marked by national current events.
The initiative coincides with a series of demonstrations that have been called in various parts of Spain. The main objective of these acts is to raise awareness of the current situation in Ceuta and to express the citizens' solidarity with its inhabitants.
Authorities have confirmed that the facade of the building, the seat of the Government of the Community of Madrid, will display the Ceuta colors throughout the night. This type of special lighting is a common practice for the institution to commemorate significant dates or to support causes of general interest to the country as a whole.
The event is expected to proceed normally while security forces monitor the various demonstrations called throughout the rest of Spain. The regional government has emphasized that this act is a sign of unity and respect for one of the Spanish territories in North Africa.
In conclusion, the illumination of the Real Casa de Correos highlights the relevance of Ceuta on Spain's political and social agenda. Citizens who are in the center of Madrid will be able to observe this display of lights as part of a day of advocacy and institutional support.
