Bus fares drop 22% and confidence improves
Travelers will see a significant reduction in the cost of long-distance road travel. New data has also been published regarding the desire of Spaniards abroad to return and business confidence in the national economy.
Passengers on national bus routes will pay an average of 22% less for their tickets following the implementation of a new fare system. The average price will be around 0.067 euros per passenger per kilometer, representing direct savings for those who regularly travel between different provinces and regions of Spain.
Related to mobility, but on an international scale, a new study by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) analyzes the possibilities of return for young Spaniards living abroad. The report highlights that the main destination countries are the United States, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, and evaluates the labor and personal conditions that would facilitate their return to the country—a relevant factor for families and those planning their return.
On the other hand, business confidence in Spain has reached its highest level in almost two years. The industrial confidence indicator improved in June, suggesting a more optimistic perception among companies regarding economic activity and labor market stability in the short term.
