18-year-old woman seriously injured after falling on Mount Anboto
An 18-year-old woman suffered a serious accident this Wednesday while hiking on Mount Anboto, located in the Basque Country. The hiker fell from a height of approximately 30 meters, which resulted in serious injuries.
After receiving notification of the accident, 112 emergency services immediately activated a rescue operation. Due to the difficult terrain, the intervention of an Ertzaintza helicopter was necessary to access the area and rescue the victim safely.
Once the rescue teams managed to stabilize the young woman, she was rushed to the nearest hospital to receive specialized medical care. At the moment, authorities have not provided further details regarding her current health status.
