The 'Letras de Costa Rica' festival to celebrate its fifth edition in Madrid
Casa de América, located in the heart of Madrid, will be the stage for the fifth edition of the 'Letras de Costa Rica' festival. This cultural event, which has become a prominent date for literature lovers, will take place on October 7, 2026.
The festival seeks to strengthen cultural ties between Spain and Costa Rica through the written word. During this day, prominent Costa Rican authors will present their most recent works and participate in various debates on the current literary landscape in Latin America.
The choice of Madrid as the venue underscores the importance of the Spanish capital as a fundamental bridge for the dissemination of Hispanic-American culture in Europe. The organization has confirmed that the program will include round tables, poetry readings, and meetings with the invited writers.
This gathering is not only an opportunity to discover new voices in Central American literature, but also a space for exchange for the Spanish public. Attendees will be able to delve into the linguistic and creative richness of Costa Rica in a historic and emblematic setting.
The consolidation of this festival in its fifth edition demonstrates the success of initiatives that promote cultural dialogue between both countries. The event is expected to attract a large number of readers, students, and publishing industry professionals interested in Spanish-language literature.
