Valencia consolidates its position as a hub for sports technology innovation

The city of Valencia has celebrated a major milestone in its technological ecosystem. On September 4th, the GSIC Testing Lab presented the results of its first year of activity at the La Harinera building, highlighting the city's role as a key meeting point for the development of new technologies applied to the world of sports.

During this first year, a total of 61 emerging companies, known as startups, have passed through the Valencian facilities to validate their projects. Most notable is the international nature of this initiative, as the entrepreneurs come from more than 20 different countries, placing Spain on the global map of sports innovation.

The main objective of this laboratory is to offer a space where companies can test their technological solutions in a real-world environment. Thanks to this support, entrepreneurs can improve their products before launching them into the market, thereby facilitating the digitalization of clubs, federations, and sporting events.

The choice of La Harinera as the headquarters is no coincidence, as this space has become a benchmark for innovation in the capital of the Turia. With these results, Valencia reinforces its position as an attractive destination for technological talent and foreign investment in the sports sector.
