Ituero theater group celebrates 29 years of cultural tradition
The small municipality of Ituero has once again become the stage for a highly anticipated cultural event. As has happened every August 19th for nearly three decades, residents and visitors gathered to enjoy a new theatrical performance that has become a consolidated tradition in the town.
In this edition, the local theater group premiered the play titled 'Spanish Biblia. Nuevo testamento' ('Spanish Bible. New Testament'). This theatrical piece was written by Miguel Ángel Machín Andrés, who has been the author responsible for bringing to life the stories performed by the group during these 29 years of uninterrupted history.
The performance stands out for the commitment of the local actors, who dedicate months of work to prepare for this annual event. The play not only seeks to entertain the audience but also to keep alive the custom of celebrating theater in a rural setting, thereby fostering culture and community participation in the area.
The audience's loyalty to this event demonstrates its importance to the inhabitants of Ituero. With nearly three decades of history, the theater group has managed to make August 19th a date marked on the region's cultural calendar, uniting different generations through the performing arts.
