Employment in Services and Digital Investment Grow
Spain is showing signs of economic strengthening with a rebound in the service sector and industry. At the same time, the Government is streamlining investment in technology and audiovisual content to attract innovation projects to the country.
Service sector activity and new business grew in June at their highest rate in months, placing the activity index (PMI) at 53.3 points. This progress, combined with the strongest growth in industrial production in half a year, points to an improvement in employment prospects and stability for workers. This dynamism is especially concentrated in service companies, the main engine of the national economy.
To support modernization, the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT) has begun managing public funds from the Recovery Plan. These investments are destined for the "Spain Audiovisual Hub," a program to provide capital to technological innovation and content creation companies. The goal is to reduce bureaucracy in accessing funds for digital projects, benefiting professionals and entrepreneurs in the creative sector.
