Spain leads Europe in the use of artificial intelligence
Spain has become one of the leading countries in the adoption of new technologies. According to a recent report published by Microsoft, nearly half of the Spanish population, specifically 45.1% of people between 15 and 64 years old, already uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in their daily lives.
This data places Spain in a privileged position internationally. Currently, our country holds the sixth position in the global ranking of the adoption of this technology, surpassing the vast majority of its European neighbors. This progress demonstrates a growing interest on the part of Spanish citizens in integrating these digital solutions into their daily activities.
The study highlights that the use of AI is not limited solely to the professional sphere. Many citizens are taking advantage of these tools for personal tasks, learning, and organization, which facilitates the completion of various administrative processes. The ease of access to these platforms has been a key factor in the percentage of users growing so rapidly over the last year.
Experts point out that this trend will continue to increase in the coming months. As companies and educational institutions integrate more AI functions into their systems, it is likely that the number of users will continue to rise, consolidating Spain as a technological benchmark within the European continent.
