A forest fire in Tuéjar forces the evacuation of dozens of people
A serious forest fire broke out this week in the municipality of Tuéjar, in the province of Valencia. The flames have already affected an area of approximately 690 hectares of land, causing great concern among emergency services and local residents.
Due to the rapid spread of the fire, caused mainly by high temperatures and wind, local authorities made the decision to evacuate residents from several nearby homes. The main objective of this measure was to ensure the safety of citizens in the face of the uncontrolled advance of the flames.
Firefighters, forestry brigades, and aerial resources are working intensely in the area to try to control the perimeter of the fire. Extinguishing efforts are complex due to the difficult terrain, which complicates the access of ground vehicles to the most critical points.
For the moment, emergency teams continue to monitor the development of the fire to prevent it from reigniting. In the meantime, authorities have asked the population to avoid approaching the affected areas and to strictly follow the instructions of the security forces until the situation is completely under control.
