Travel fever to New York following the Spanish national team's success
The recent qualification of the Spanish national team for the final of a major international tournament has sparked a real frenzy among Spanish fans. Faced with the prospect of seeing their team fight for the title in New York, thousands of supporters have begun planning their trip to the United States immediately.
The airline Level has reported a surprising figure that reflects this enthusiasm: flight searches to New York have experienced an increase of 1709%. This sudden surge demonstrates the strong desire of fans to accompany the national team during a historic moment for Spanish sport.
The tourism sector and airlines are now preparing to manage this high demand. Experts point out that this phenomenon is common when it comes to major sporting events, where supporters do not want to miss the opportunity to experience it live from the host city.
Despite the distance and the costs involved in a transatlantic trip, the fans' excitement seems to be the main driver of this massive movement. Authorities recommend that travelers organize their trips in advance to avoid problems with flight and accommodation availability during the event dates.
