Teenagers stole warning system to build speakers
An unusual theft has occurred at a high school in Sweden. A "Hesa Fredrik" alarm system, which is used to warn the public in case of danger, has been stolen from the school grounds.
Police have identified those responsible as a group of teenagers. When the youths were questioned, they explained that their purpose for the theft was not to cause harm or create panic in the community.
Instead, the teenagers said they wanted to use the powerful sirens as speakers in their modified cars, known as A-tractors. They had hoped to get a louder sound system for their vehicles.
This has attracted significant attention because "Hesa Fredrik" is an important part of Sweden's preparedness and security. Stealing equipment linked to national security is viewed as a serious incident by the authorities.
The police investigation is now continuing to determine exactly how the theft took place and what legal consequences the youths will face. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting critical infrastructure.
