Aller Media first in Sweden with new standard for women's health at work
Media company Aller Media has become the first company in Sweden to be certified according to the new international standard ISO 45010. The standard focuses on how workplaces can improve support for women's health, with a particular focus on menstrual health.
ISO 45010 was published on September 7, 2026, and is the first global guideline of its kind. The purpose of the standard is to provide employers with concrete tools to create a more inclusive and healthy work environment for all employees, regardless of gender or biological conditions.
By following the new guidelines, Aller Media demonstrates that they want to take responsibility for their employees' well-being. The certification means that the company has implemented clear routines and a culture where issues surrounding menstrual health can be handled openly and professionally.
That Aller Media is now leading the way in this work is seen as an important step for Swedish working life. The hope is that more companies in Sweden will be inspired by the initiative and follow suit to create better conditions for women in the labor market.
