Exciting start at South Swedish Rally
The South Swedish Rally has now kicked off, and the competition has offered intense driving during the first evening. The rally is an important part of the Swedish Rally Championship and attracts many talented drivers from across the country who are competing for crucial points.
In the two-wheel drive class, 2WD, the competition is very fierce. After the first four stages have been completed, it is Isak Arvidsson and co-driver Maja Bengtsson who have taken the lead in the competition.
The duo has maintained a high pace and is currently 7.6 seconds ahead of their closest competitors, Patrik Flodin and Göran Bergsten. The small gap between the two leading crews means that the remainder of the rally looks set to be very exciting for both participants and spectators.
Now, more challenging stages await the drivers for the rest of the weekend. It remains to be seen whether Arvidsson and Bengtsson can hold onto their lead all the way to the finish line or if Flodin and Bergsten will manage to close the gap.
