Record number of teams registered for Swedish Padel League 2026/27
Interest in padel continues to grow in Sweden. Ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 season of the Swedish Padel League, the organizers have announced that a record number of teams have registered to participate in the competition.
This increase shows that the sport still holds a strong position in the country, even though the rapid growth has leveled off somewhat in recent years. Both professional players and ambitious amateur teams are looking forward to testing their skills in the upcoming league season.
The organizers are now working at full capacity to plan the schedule to accommodate the high number of participants. The great interest means that matches will be played in several different locations across Sweden, making the sport accessible to a wider audience.
In addition to the sporting value, it is hoped that the large turnout will contribute to strengthening padel's position as one of the most popular recreational sports in Sweden. Many are looking forward to following the progress and seeing which teams take home the victory when the season kicks off.
With the large number of registered teams, the Swedish Padel League looks set to be one of the most extensive tournaments to date. Preparations for the start of the season will continue over the coming months.
