Swedish defense company receives EU support for testing in Ukraine
Six different defense companies from EU countries have been selected to participate in a new collaborative project. Through the EU program BraveTechEU, these companies are receiving financial support to develop and test their technology in a real-world environment in Ukraine.
The purpose of the program is to be able to rapidly evaluate new defense innovation. By testing the technology in Ukraine, the companies can see how the equipment performs under difficult conditions while simultaneously contributing support to the country's defense.
Among the selected companies are also Swedish representatives. This is part of the EU's effort to strengthen the European defense industry and increase cooperation between member states regarding security and new technology.
The projects to be tested include various types of technical solutions that can be useful in modern conflicts. By using experiences from Ukraine, the EU hopes that the companies will be able to improve their products and make them more effective for future needs.
